KB

From too small to just right.

No quality sliders to guess. Tell ImageKB the file weight you need and it builds a verified result directly in your browser.

STEP 01

Add images

Choose one file, add a batch, or paste a direct HTTPS image link.

STEP 02

Set the target

Enter the exact KB size. Keep the original format or choose JPG, PNG, or WebP.

STEP 03

Download

Every result is checked before you download it alone or as part of a ZIP.

Common formats, handled precisely.

Keeping the original format preserves the encoded picture. Format conversion is available when a portal expects something specific.

JPGOriginal or converted
PNGTransparency preserved
WebPOriginal or converted
GIFAnimation kept as original
BMPOriginal format supported

Built for strict upload rules.

Some portals reject files below a minimum size even when the image already looks correct. ImageKB solves that narrow, frustrating problem.

Government forms

Meet exact photo or signature ranges without changing required dimensions.

Job applications

Prepare profile images for portals with minimum KB requirements.

University admissions

Process several application images together and download one ZIP.

Passport and visa photos

Keep the existing crop and pixels while increasing file weight.

Your images stay on your device.

ImageKB processes files in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to our servers, no account is required, and previews disappear when you close the page.

Questions, measured clearly.

File weight, dimensions and quality are different things. Here is what the tool changes—and what it deliberately leaves alone.

Does increasing KB improve image quality?
No. ImageKB increases file weight without inventing pixels or restoring lost detail. The image looks the same when you keep its original format.
Will the image dimensions change?
No. Keeping the original format does not resize, crop or resample the image. Pixel width and height remain unchanged.
Can I increase an image to exactly 50 KB, 100 KB or 200 KB?
Yes. Choose a preset or type a custom target. ImageKB works with binary kilobytes, where 1 KB equals 1,024 bytes, and verifies the final result.
Can I process several images at once?
Yes. Add up to 30 images, apply one target to the batch, then override the size or format for any individual image.
Why does an image link sometimes fail?
A pure browser tool can only read image hosts that allow cross-origin access. If a site blocks the request, download the image and add the local file instead.
What happens to animated GIF or WebP files?
Animation is kept when you preserve the original format. Changing an animated image to JPG, PNG or WebP exports a static first frame.
